Close to M6 4 North of Penrith. Attractive location. Luxury showers. Just outside the northern Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks so lots to do nearby

Stayed here one night after a horrendous journey from Settle blown about by strong winds and lashed by rain. This site was a little oasis surrounded by a high edge it helped to cut back some of the wind but we did get rocked to sleep.
Great little site for a stop over on way to Scotland there is a small shop round corner but only for sweets and soft drinks no papers much to my husbands disappointment the day does not start with out his paper.
In the toilet block there is two toilets and one shower cubicle and a small hand basin was all very clean. The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Will use again on our trips to Scotland so convenient from the M6.

Friendly host, facilities perfect a excellent stop off point for drivers heading for Scotland easy access from M6 in our case 2 of our party were cycling Lands End to John O'Groats so a excellent en route site for them.

A small well kept site with owner on hand to help and good knowledge of local area, there is traffic noise but the owner warned us of this before hand and we were not troubled by this. Lovely site to visit Ullswater and beautiful surrounding area

A Lovely well maintained site, toliet and shower exceptionally clean, all level pitches with grass area the owners are friendly, there is also a good selection of Dvd's in toliet block area to borrow. site is easy to find off M6 we will definitley be back!

A tucked away site from the motorway, some road noise from local traffic, but silent at night.
Friendly welcome from the owner, immaculately kept site with spotless washroom. Please be aware shower takes 20p coins so come prepared. Good stop over close to Penrith and M6 Motorway.
